LPF Flexibles Masters the Mastic Market
"Mastics can be shipped to destinations all over the world and are often stocked for long periods of time under difficult circumstances, such as high temperatures and humidity, so it was imperative to develop a flexible packaging solution that would protect against these elements.
6/24/2011 --- Mastics and sensitive ink compounds can now benefit from increased protection and temperature resistance thanks to innovative new laminate foils developed by LPF Flexible Packaging. Working in cooperation with Poly-clip Systems, LPF Flexible Packaging now provides tailor-made laminate foils that provide protection for atmospherically-sensitive mastics and ink compounds.
The laminates are a multi-layer flexible packaging material which provide a protective barrier and high temperature resistance to prevent the degeneration of packaged products during transportation, handling and storage.
Barry Marron, Managing Director of the Clondalkin Group Business Unit Laminated & Coated Products, said: "We are very pleased to have created a product that will be of huge benefit to the mastics market and it was particularly valuable to work alongside such an innovative organisation as Poly-clip Systems.
"Mastics can be shipped to destinations all over the world and are often stocked for long periods of time under difficult circumstances, such as high temperatures and humidity, so it was imperative to develop a flexible packaging solution that would protect against these elements.
"Long shelf life is important for these products, therefore the new range of laminates has been designed and created with special properties that offer maximum protection and preservation during transport and storage."
