08 Jun 2015 --- Multi-national seed supplier and crop protection specialists Syngenta has announced that it has rejected a second proposal by the world leader in crop protection Monsanto. The second deal was higher in value (up to $47bn) and included a reverse break-up fee worth $2bn, which seeks to address Syngenta’s worries about regulatory approval for the deal.
