Dutch Spices ‘Company of the Year 2014’
11 Apr 2014 --- Dutch Spices won the title "Company of the Year" in the category Industry and Services during the Business Event Nijkerk. Dutch Spices won the battle from two other nominees, the Estate Salentein and the multinational Arla Foods. "This is a confirmation that we are on the right track," said Frank Patz, director of Dutch Spices.
The jury assessed Dutch Spices as a company that has conquered a solid position in the market, in a short period, through a comprehensive knowledge and a continuous flow of innovation based on customer information. The jury also complimented the role of Dutch Spices in the Food Valley Region, which Nijkerk incudes. Director Frank Patz collected the award on Monday the 7th of April and he said to be proud and enthusiastic about the award and the recognition.
The last two years, Dutch Spices launched several successful new projects. The B-2-B assortment expended and the consumer brand Simply Spices was launched. Also, the preparations for the liquid production facilities started for allergen-free sauces and marinades.
Before the nominations for “Company of the Year” an independent jury looked at a broad spectrum of entrepreneurship: innovation, sustainability efforts and community involvement (local and social), local government functions, and human resources.
