In response to these shortages, Bell Flavors & Fragrances has developed lines of extender and replacer flavors to be used as alternatives or in conjunction with these ingredients.
A few advantages to using Bell Flavors & Fragrances extender and replacer flavors include cost reduction, standardized and consistent flavor profiles, and contamination free ingredients. Bell has various flavor forms and form versions available for the line.
Some of the flavors available for savory applications include garlic, tomato, olive oil and eggs. A sampling of fruit flavors are available too including lemon, lime, raspberry, cranberry and grapefruit. In addition, other extender and replacer flavors available include vanilla, cocoa, maple and honey.
