Within the dairy industry, health and clean label are standing out as key platforms for innovation. Claims that highlight cleaner labels, a source of protein, being free from lactose, and having probiotics are increasingly applied globally. In particular, dairy products launched globally and targeting children (5 to 12 years) are on the rise with an average annual growth of 26 percent between 2015 and 2019.
