Biocon del Peru is a leading producer of natural colors specialized in a wide range of Cochineal and Annatto derivatives. With more than 20 years of experience, we are leaders in natural colors supplying the food, beverage, cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries worldwide.

In 1983 Biocon del Peru was founded as a subsidiary of Biocon Biochemical’s Ltd in Ireland. Following Quest International's (Unilever Group) acquisition of the Biocon Group, Biocon del Peru became an independent company in 1993.

With our production facilities based in Lima - Peru, we are able to produce at the source of the raw materials. Around 85% of world production of cochineal and more than 15% of world production of annatto seeds comes from the inlands of Peru. We are currently expanding within the production of paprika derivatives as Peru is a strong producer of paprika.

As an independent company Biocon del Peru can respond quickly and with flexibility to our clients requirements.
