3 Dec 2009 --- Zeller Plastik Poland is supplying a new custom tamper evident flip-top dispensing closure to Unilever Polska to cap the Liquid Seasoning range from Knorr, one of the world's best-known brands.

Although already a longstanding customer of parent company, Global Closure Systems (GCS), Unilever Polska had not been supplied directly by Zeller Plastik Poland before. Working closely with the customer to evaluate the packaging issues and requirements, GCS's International Product Development team designed a new closure with a clean curved profile to replace the previous faceted cap and enhance the existing glass bottle. The new 20mm push-on closure, manufactured in yellow PP with a gloss finish, uses a tamper evident tear-off visor to the hinged flip-top to ensure product security and provides ideal drop-by-drop product dispensing, enabling the consumer to enhance the flavour of their food to taste. A spigot in the flip-top seals the 2mm dispensing orifice and the spout sits within a recessed deck designed to catch any excess drops.

Knorr Liquid Seasoning with the GCS closure is being distributed throughout Poland and Switzerland. Knorr is Unilever’s biggest selling brand with products currently sold in 87 countries.
