Naturex buys Swedish Oat Fiber, as Q3 revenues slightly decline

15 Nov 2017 --- Naturex is firming up its presence in the natural nutrition market with the acquisition of Swedish Oat Fiber, a specialized manufacturer of oat dietary fibers, oils and proteins. A Naturex spokesperson confirmed to FoodIngredientsFirst that the acquisition price is not being disclosed, however, CEO of the French-headquartered group, Olivier Rigaud, says this latest acquisition will strengthen Naturex’s position and forms part of the company’s continuing strategy for organic and external growth.

Naturex appoints Chimab as new Italian distributor

27 Oct 2017 --- Naturex has expanded its presence in the Italian market with the appointment of Chimab as a distributor. As of 1 November 2017, Chimab will work alongside Naturex to distribute its savory ingredients and selected sweet products to food businesses across Italy. The agreement will enable Naturex, with Chimab’s support, to enhance its service levels in the country and react more quickly to changing customer needs.

Naturex “solid” H1 results in line with expectations, says CEO

14 Sep 2017 --- Reporting first-half year results, Naturex CEO and director Olivier Rigaud says the plant-based natural ingredients specialist had a “solid” first half with “no surprises,” with improvements in profitability and working capital, as well as gaining share into emerging markets. Naturex says that it is performing in line with the roadmap already established as part of its 2020 targets and will remain focused on this.
