Azelis Appointed by Evonik for Silica Distribution in the Nordics

01 May 2015 --- Azelis has announced its appointment by Evonik Industries AG, the leading manufacturer of performance silica, as distributor for the Aerosil & Sipernat range of products in the Nordic region from 1st April 2015.

The supply of these products to the Food, Personal Care and Pharma Industries in Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Iceland is a further step in the strategic development of the relationship between Evonik and Azelis.

Azelis and Evonik look forward to further developing the silica business in the Nordics.  Andreas Ernst, Director Global Distributor Management, Evonik Industries, Silica Business Line, states: “We believe that with Azelis, we will have improved market coverage supported by a new sales organization, offering our customers sound commercial solutions combined with a high level of local technical support across all Nordic countries.”

Azelis offers a full suite of value added services to help customers create inventive application ideas for new products and also to improve the performance of existing ranges. DSM wins yeast patent infringement case against Lallemand

Azelis bolsters position in Nordic market by snapping up Ingredi

17 May 2018 --- Specialty chemicals and food ingredients distributor Azelis is strengthening its position in the Nordic food market with the acquisition of premium ingredient supplier Sweden-based Ingredi AB. Coming off the back of marking its entry in the South Korean market with the recent acquisition of the distributor of personal care ingredients SammiChem Co, Azelis has now signed another agreement – this time to acquire Ingredi AB, which is effective immediately.
