17 Aug 2012 --- PureCircle, the world's leading producer and marketer of high purity stevia products announces it has received a Notice of Allowance from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office for a patent application pertaining to PureCircle’s growing line of natural flavors. The notice of allowance is a milestone element for global protection of PureCircle's intellectual property, covering the unique know-how achieved in PureCircle's proprietary natural flavor manufacturing.  In line with PureCircle’s global business strategy, the company has further sought international protection of this valuable intellectual property.

PureCircle’s natural flavors line, first launched in June 2011, has been a major development in the company’s portfolio, as it is designed to work with PureCircle’s entire range of high purity stevia products and other natural sweeteners.  Across global markets, PureCircle Flavors are now helping to improve the taste, calorie profile, and cost of products in many of the world’s leading brands. 

Beyond this patent application, PureCircle has approximately ninety additional patent applications at various stages in the patent review process submitted across global markets, which further the company’s leadership in the stevia industry.
