09 Feb 2018 --- This week in business, there were several announcements made for recognition in sustainability, including Unilever, ADM and IFF. First Milk announced that it has been awarded Best Strategic Partnership in the 2018 Nestlé Supplier Awards and DSM appointed a new EMEA Vice President (VP) of its Human Nutrition & Health business. Elsewhere, Orkla announced promising results for 2017 and Arla Foods Ingredients seeks market growth in South America.

UK: Arla Foods acquires Yeo Valley Dairies

08 Feb 2018 --- Arla Foods Limited will acquire Yeo Valley Dairies Limited, a subsidiary of the Yeo Valley Group Limited. The transaction will give the farmer-owned dairy cooperative the rights to use the Yeo Valley brand in milk, butter, spreads and cheese under an intellectual property license with Yeo Valley. Completion of the transaction will take place following merger approval by the UK Competition and Markets Authority.

The Launch of a 100% Whey Based Iced Coffee

Arla Food Ingredients presents a 100% whey based iced protein coffee concept with Lacprodan DI7017 with Capolac milk mineral. A high source of protein (>20%), it is a healthy beverage that will benefit not just the muscles but also the brain, thanks to its natural caffeine content. Low in sugar and lactose, the iced coffee also contains Capolac minerals from milk and is a source of calcium (>60mg/100ml). How to Improve Body Age With Dairy Ingredients
