Corbion to Handle Sales and Marketing of Key BASF Products in North America
01 Dec 2016 --- Corbion is to carry out the sales and marketing activities of two key products manufactured by BASF. The Dutch-based provider of bio-based products made from renewable resources will be responsible for sales and marketing of BASF’s Spongolit aerating emulsifiers and Lamequick whipping agents in North America.
"Through its partnership with Corbion, BASF provides the market with two products that can create delicious baked goods with excellent taste and sensory characteristics," said John Helfrick, director, BASF Human Nutrition, North America.

Lamequick is a whipping agent based on non-hydrogenated fats that offers benefits such as high foam volume, while Spongolit is an aerating emulsifier which helps stabilize volume and crumb structure in all kinds of cakes.
