Food Ingredients First attended the International Food & Drink Event (IFE) Manufacturing event last week and innovators were tapping into health, convenience and indulgence. Protein enrichment was a hot topic, not just in the plant-based arena, but many companies are harnessing traditional meat in novel concepts. Sophisticated snacking and popcorn concepts were featured prominently this year and many were presented to deliver on both taste and functionality.
